Description Community based Childcare non profit organisation. Licensed for 18 places, 6 under 2's, 12 over 2. Care is provided from 8am to 4.30pm. The Koonibba Community Council Inc. is the sponsor body. Activities We provide childcare that meets the needs of our children, parents, care givers and community. We also encourage non-aboriginal people to use the centre. Music, art, dramatics, literature and oral skills through offering many kinds of materials and frequent experiences. Encourage interest in language through stories, puppetry, the home corner and its equipment games, problem solving and other conversations To facilitate intellectual development by widening the child's experience in order to increase knowledge, basic concepts and skills. We recognise the parents as the primary careers and educators of their children and value parent participation in all activities at the centre
