Look out for the signs on Eyre highway

The Scotdesco team of workers have put signs up on both sides of scotdesco to direct visitors to our community. We are hoping it will be a big year with visitors coming to enjoy our yummy coffee and see whats happening in this lovely place...... Community members are available to take visitors on a tour around scotdesco to see our rain water harvesting, community gardens, artists at work and the wild life so......look out for the signs that will lead you to our community

Scotdesco [Tjilkaba] Community
Main Office is located 24km West of Penong & 94km West of Ceduna in the area known as Bookabie, South Australia.
Welcome to the Scotdesco community. The property is between Penong and Fowlers Bay; 25 km West of Penong and 34km east of Fowlers Bay in an area known as Bookabie in South Australia.
The countryside and surrounds consist mainly of grasslands and Mallee scrub - ideal for hunting kangaroo (marlu), wombat (wardu) and sleepy lizard (gulda).
There are three rock holes near the land; Yangura, Mitcherie and Euria Rock holes. Euria Rock hole is the best known and biggest.

Scotdesco is thinking about the future of their youth by working towards economical sustainability through supporting people to develop a range of enterprises

Scotdesco is the home of the big wombat, this sculpture was a community project and people are welcome to come in and see it and have a cuppa and meet the locals as well.
