Wilurrara Regional Website which has been developed to promote the
Aboriginal Communities in our region. |

WANGKA WILURRARA ON-LINE PROJECT
A project of the Wangka Wilurrara Regional Council of ATSIS,
supported by Networking the Nation, Eyre Regional Development Board
and the South Australian Government
Funding of $151,000 was provided to the Regional Council from
Networking the Nation (National Office of the Information Economy -
NOIE). A final report and accounting for this project has been
submitted to NOIE.
This was a collaborative project in which Department for
Administrative and Information Services, (DAIS) Reconciliation
program and the Science Technology and Innovation Directorate (DFEEST),
formerly IEPO, also provided funding of $40,000 for the
establishment and development of a regional web site for the Wangka
Wilurrara ATSIC region.
Eyre Regional Development Board was approached to deliver the
project and a steering committee was formed from the collaborative
partners. |
